White Truffle Olive Oil

Like you’re in Alba at the height of truffle season, even if you’re home with popcorn in front of your tv

Since 1975, Tartuflanghe’s products, like this extra virgin olive oil, have showcased the legendary white truffles that grow in Langhe, Roero and Monferrato in Piedmont, Northern Italy. Founder Beppe Montanaro’s story begins in Alba, with the restaurant he opened in 1968 whose signature dishes centered on mushrooms and the white truffles the region is known for. Because truffle season is so short, Montanaro came up with inventive ways to incorporate truffles into more shelf-stable cooking ingredients that bring the earthy, slightly garlic-y flavor of white truffles to the dishes you can make any time.

Now run by Beppe’s son Paolo and Veronica, Paolo’s wife, Tartuflanghe’s commitment to and passion for harvesting truffles from this very precise geographic region continues, and the products remain those well worth seeking out.
