Speak Out: Trans Students Experiences in WNC

Thursday, March 28th 6-7:30pm
East Fork Asheville (15 W Walnut St., Asheville, NC 28801)

Hear from Queer, Trans Youth about their lived experience at a panel at East Fork Asheville.

Creating space for Trans youth to share their school experiences within an increasingly anti-trans national climate. During this event we’ll be asking Trans youth: What is it like having your identity censored in school? What are the impacts of not being able to access gender-affirming healthcare? How does being banned from sports change your relationship with the community? Who are the people in power who can help? How can we create spaces for Trans joy? Join Youth OUTright, Campaign for Southern Equality, and East Fork Pottery to dive into these questions and amplify youth voices.
