Returns & Exchanges

East Fork will happily exchange merchandise, issue a store credit or process a refund to the original form of payment within 30 days of merchandise being received if you are unsatisfied with your order. All returns and exchanges require proof of purchase and items must be in new, unused condition. East Fork is not responsible for shipping fees if you receive an item you don't like. This includes but is not limited to glaze preference or form preference.

Please be aware that all Seconds quality pottery and other disclosed sale items are final sale and therefore not eligible to be returned or exchanged.

Please contact care@eastfork.com with your intention to return within 30 days of receiving merchandise and the Care team will promptly send return instructions. Returns must be shipped within two weeks of contacting the Care team.

Refunds will be issued for returning merchandise only after they are received in acceptable condition. Once an exchange is received, we'll issue you a store credit for the full amount of your purchase, minus the cost of shipping, to use on eastfork.com. Your store credit expires after one year.

If you received a piece of pottery as a gift and would like something different, you're more than welcome to send it back to us for store credit, just contact care@eastfork.com.

If your pottery arrives broken, please take a photograph of the damage and send the pictures to care@eastfork.com. We'll get a replacement out to you pronto!

If you have any questions regarding the quality of an item received, please send a photograph to care@eastfork.com so we can assess the pottery.

Unless you are returning or exchanging an item that arrived defective or damaged, you will be responsible for shipping costs. Please note that the responsibility for safely getting breakable items back to us falls on you. We are unable to exchange items that are returned to us in anything less than like-new condition so if the item is damaged in transit, you will not receive any refund. The cost of shipping is non-refundable and will not be comped.

In-Store Returns and Exchanges Policy

You can return or exchange any unused, unwashed, or defective merchandise with a receipt within 10 days of purchase for a full refund.

After 10 days, or when returning a gift, a store credit will be issued for the price paid. All returned items must be in unused condition with all packaging intact.

Please note that all special order items or items from our Seconds Sales are considered final sale and are not eligible for refunds or exchanges.

Excessive Returns Policy

East Fork operates on a three strike policy for customers who exhibit high-risk return behavior. High-risk behavior is identified as:

  • Returning 20 or more items from various orders within 90 days
  • Return a total amount greater than $2,000 from various orders within 90 days
  • Overall return rate of 80% during a calendar year
  • Strikes are not assessed in instances of East Fork’s fault (example, an item was damaged)

If a strike is assessed, the customer will be notified via email. The strike will automatically fall off the account after 12 months from the given date.

Customers who reach three strikes will be prohibited from making any returns, regardless of the reason until the strike falls off the account.
