A color from our past, Thistle is a dusty mauve pink that shifts with the light, from deep clay in dim rooms to blue-tinged blush in full sun.

Thistle was one of the first glazes we produced when we switched to the gas kiln back in 2015. It was such a wild departure from what we were used to seeing coming from the wood-fired kiln. We took an enormous leap away from what our conditioned understanding of beauty was, and from that leap the new seed of East Fork took root.
