            A Color Study

            "A split-complementary palette starts with a base color, in our case this season, Daylily. It then looks across the color wheel, not to its precise complement, but to the two hues on either side of its complement. Like complementary colors, a split-complementary palette is striking and balanced but with the tension dialed down. Our spring/summer palette is a little slant rhyme on that concept, with Lamb’s Ear and Neptune tweaked to work within the East Fork color universe."
