Design
You can't have one without the other...the perfect pair to our Greek Pepper Mill, the Original Greek Mill is a unique piece of European tradition that is functionally the best in the world and handmade to exacting standards. Based on a coffee mill that was used by Greek soldiers in the early 20th century, the mill design includes a flanged base for stability and a durable all-metal body.
Since salt corrodes metal, salt and pepper mills aren't interchangeable - this mill has a plastic grinding mechanism made specifically for milling salt.
