Third Wave Mug

Wheel-thrown by Mike Ball for East Fork Workshop, our Third Wave Mug is back. With just as much room for your coffee, tea, or adult bevvie as The Mug, but in a slightly squatter profile and fully dipped in color.

The mugs are named for the coffee movement where purveyors engage directly with farms that cultivate crops—a call for greater social and environmental responsibility within the coffee industry. Some experts see the first wave as awareness of coffee, the second as awareness of the coffee’s country of origin and the third as awareness of the farm, the people and the natural resources that helped produce the coffee.

The Third Wave Mug was originally made in collaboration with Counter Culture Coffee in 2019. Since then, we have had special limited drops of this beloved form seasonally and will continue to offer it in a rotating cast of colors.
